Tempo Credit Terms

Version 1.0 · Last updated: June 10, 2026

This is a preliminary policy. It will be reviewed by legal counsel before Tempo processes real transactions.

1. What Tempo Credit Is

Tempo Credit is a store credit posted to your Tempo account that can be applied toward future purchases on the platform. Tempo issues credit in three situations:

  • Dispute resolution — as a resolution outcome under the Buyer Protection Policy;
  • Remorse-return refunds — when you elect to receive a return refund as credit under the Return Policy (at the reduced 5% restocking fee); and
  • Goodwill — at Tempo's discretion, for service issues or inconvenience.

Tempo Credit is not a purchasable gift card, is not part of any rewards or earning program, and is issued only by Tempo at its discretion or as provided in the policies above.

2. Redemption

Credit in your account is applied automatically at checkout toward your next purchase, up to the full amount of the watch price. Credit does not apply to shipping costs or taxes, which are charged to your payment method. If a purchase exceeds your credit balance, the remainder is charged to your payment method. If your credit balance exceeds the purchase, the unused balance remains in your account.

If an order paid partly or wholly with credit is refunded, the credit portion is returned as credit and the payment-method portion to the payment method, subject to the Return and Buyer Protection Policies.

3. Expiration and Cash Value

Tempo Credit does not expire.

Tempo Credit has no cash value and is not redeemable for cash, except where required by applicable law. It is non-transferable, may not be sold or assigned, and is usable only by the account holder to whom it was issued.

4. Good Standing and Fraud

Credit may be redeemed only while your account is in good standing. Tempo may cancel credit that was issued in error or obtained through fraud or abuse (for example, credit issued in a dispute later determined to be fraudulent), and may suspend redemption while an investigation is pending.

5. Taxes

Credit issued as a refund or compensation is generally not income, but where law requires Tempo to report amounts to tax authorities, it will do so using the account holder's information on file. You are responsible for any taxes you owe.

6. Changes

Tempo may modify these terms prospectively with notice as described in the Terms of Service. Modifications will not reduce a credit balance already posted to your account.
