This Rolex Datejust Oysterquartz 17014 represents a period of tasteful innovation for Rolex. Separating itself from the modern Datejusts with its angular, integrated look it has transitioned from an overlooked piece to a highly sought-after vintage watch by collectors. Featuring a 36mm stainless steel case with a "cushion" shape, a 18k white gold fluted bezel and with the Oyster-style link bracelet integrated directly into the case and designed with a distinct taper known for its solid construction and comfort. The bracelet has 12 links, with 4 removable screws. The case houses the Caliber 5035, a 32khz, 11-jewel quartz movement that is certified as Superlative Chronometers (COSC). This pre-owned Datejust Oysterquartz is in good overall condition, showing honest signs of wear consistent with age, including surface scratches and minor spots on the dial. The crystal remains in good condition, with minor abrasions visible along the edge of the sapphire.
