Description

The Heuer Monaco was introduced in 1969 with the first automatic chronograph movement, the calibre 11. Coupled by the association of Steve McQueen's decision to wear the watch in the film 'Le Mans', the watch is nothing short of iconic. This example is a deviation from the debut Monaco with the rare manual wind variant, It is powered by the Valjoux 7736. These watches were introduced in the early 1970s and this example is in phenomenal condition. The case appears to be unpolished. The dial and lume is extremely attractive. These watches are some of the most interesting and fun Heuers to own. The watch comes with box and papers. We do not know the service history but it is running well.
