Description
The OMEGA Speedmaster is certainly one of the most iconic watches with a truly rich history of exploration and sport. This is a particularly cool limited edition watch with incredible provenance. It is an OMEGA Speedmaster Reduced Blue Kart Edition reference 3510.81 that was gifted by Paul Newman and Carl Haas to the Newman/Haas Racing team's body engineer Bill Mann during Christmas of 1997. The watch was featured in HODINKEE's article ' Found An Omega Speedmaster Gifted By Paul Newman ' in 2016. It was later sold at Heritage Auctions in 2019. The case is unpolished. It measures 39mm in diameter. This watch comes with box and papers. It also comes with an Extract from the Archives. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. The box is designed like a racing tire which is insanely cool. The watch dates to 1997.
