Description
The Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT (M.N.24), reference 2542G247NU, is a modern tool watch engineered for durability, precision, and serious exploration. Developed with the demands of military aviation and diving in mind, this distinctive timepiece features a satin-brushed 42mm Grade 2 titanium case with fixed strap bars machined directly into the case for exceptional strength and durability. The case is paired with a bidirectional rotating 24-hour graduated titanium bezel fitted with a black ceramic insert. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the matte black dial features beige-toned luminous hour markers and Tudor’s signature snowflake hands, all treated with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova®. A distinctive orange lacquered arrow-tip GMT hand provides high-visibility tracking of a secondary time zone, while the date aperture is positioned at 3 o’clock. Powering the watch is Tudor’s Calibre MT5652-U, a self-winding mechanical movement offering approximately 65 hours of power reserve. The movement provides central hours, minutes, and seconds, true flyer/traveler GMT functionality with independent local-hour adjustment, and an instantaneous date change. The movement carries both Official COSC Chronometer certification and METAS Master Chronometer certification, while the case provides water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet). The solid titanium caseback is engraved with M.N.24 and markings of the French Naval Aviation (Aéronautique Navale), further emphasizing the watch’s military-inspired purpose. The watch is presented on its original green one-piece technical fabric strap with a titanium pin buckle and French Naval Aviation roundel. This pre-owned example remains in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of wear. It is offered as a complete original set, including the Tudor outer box, inner presentation box, user manual, warranty booklet, and international guarantee card dated November 2024.
