Description
This Ulysse Nardin chronograph is a remarkable vintage chronograph from the late 1930s - early 1940s. These Ulysse Nardin chronographs are extremely rare. The case is very similar design to the Gallet Flying Officer "Clamshell" chronograph, except larger! Instead, it measures 35mm in diameter and 43mm lug to lug. It features a screw-down caseback. These chronographs are among my favorite designs and are the earliest waterprotected chronographs. The case appears to be unpolished. It features an incredibly attractive non-luminous multi-tone gilt dial. It is paired on a contemporary stretch rivet bracelet made by Private Eyes. It does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
