Description
The Abercrombie & Fitch Seafarer is essentially the same watch as the Heuer Mareographe reference 2444 with a bit of retailer sauce! This example is an incredibly attractive reference 2444. It has an outstanding dial with excellent blue accents in the registers. The minute register is designated for timing yacht races. The case has been lightly polished. It measures approximately 35mm in diameter. The watch dates to the early 1960s. It is paired on a great blue strap that compliments the dial. The watch does not come with box or papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. This watch is featured in our forthcoming book 'Vintage Watches: The Modern Guide'.
