Description
The Datejust is an iconic watch introduced in 1945. This Datejust is a very rare example - a reference 16003. The 1600 is defined by the smooth bezel. This is a two-tone variant with a beautiful black dial and sharp gold font. The case appears to be unpolished. It features a 5.8M serial and dates to circa 1979. It is paired on a 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end links and C date code dating to circa 1978 and is likely original to the watch. The watch comes does not come with box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
