This is a special Jacob & Co Five Time Zone wristwatch belonging to the legendary hip-hop DJ DJ Hurricane. DJ Hurricane is known for his role as DJ for the monumental Hip-hop group Beastie Boys for over 13 years. DJ Hurricane has also worked with many of the legendary Hip hop artists including Kool G Rap, Public Enemy, Flipmode Squad, Rah Digga, Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch, Tick Daddy, Coolio, Talib Kweli, Papoose, Sen-Dog. In 2024, DJ Hurricane was inducted into the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. An awesome part of Hurricane's resume was that he worked as security for Run D.M.C. during the Raising Hell Tour. The case measures approximately 46mm in diameter. The bracelet will fit a wrist over 7.5 inches in circumference. The watch was purchased new in 2002 by DJ Hurricane. In 2008, he had the watch customized by Jacob & Co. to feature a diamond set case. In 2010, the bezel was diamond set bezel was added Jacob & Co. It also comes with the original smooth bezel. In 2012, the dial was customized through Jacob & Co to feature a "World is Yours" themed diamond set dial. The watch features approximately 15 carats. We do not know the service history, but the watch is running well. It comes with box and papers. The card is not filled out which is common for this era. The watch comes with a letter of provenance.
