About the Family
CODE 11.59 launched in 2019 as Audemars Piguet's first major new collection since the Royal Oak Offshore in 1993. The name encodes the brand's philosophy: Challenge, Own, Dare, Evolve — with 11.59 representing the minute before midnight, the moment before everything changes. The collection was designed to demonstrate that the Le Brassus manufacture could create something entirely distinct from the Royal Oak's octagonal DNA. Double-curved sapphire crystals, a complex multi-layer case construction with both round and octagonal geometry, and a focus on lacquered and aventurine dials gave the CODE 11.59 a personality that gradually won over a sceptical market. It represents the brand's most considered attempt to expand its identity beyond a single iconic design.
About this reference
The Audemars Piguet CODE 11.59 collection was introduced at SIHH 2019. Available in a number of configurations, all of the watches in this line feature a distinct case design with an octagonal mid-case sandwiched between a round top and back, paired with hollowed-out lugs. The Code 11.59 Chronograph 26393OR.OO.A321CR.01 features a pink gold case and a blue dial. It is powered by the self-winding caliber AP 4401.
