About the Movement
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 751 is a self-winding column wheel chronograph equipped with twin counters: a 30 minute counter at 3 o'clock and a 12 hour counter located at 9 o'clock. The seconds are indicated by a central hand.

The Polaris takes its name and inspiration from the 1968 Memovox Polaris — a diver's alarm watch that is now one of the most sought-after vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre references. The modern Polaris, relaunched in 2018, reinterprets the original's internal rotating bezel, three-crown configuration, and sports-watch proportions for contemporary wear. The collection spans time-only, chronograph, and world-time complications, unified by a design language that is distinctly more robust and sporty than Jaeger-LeCoultre's traditional dress watch offerings. The Polaris represents the brand's recognition that its heritage extends beyond the drawing room to the dive site and the racetrack.

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Chronograph was introduced at SIHH 2018 as part of the new Polaris collection, whose design codes are inspired by the original 1968 Polaris dive watch.
