About the Family
The Black Bay GMT added a true GMT complication to Tudor's most successful platform, using the manufacture MT5652 calibre to provide an independently adjustable local hour hand and a 24-hour rotating bezel. The 'Pepsi' bezel colourway of the initial release was a direct nod to vintage Rolex GMT-Masters, acknowledging the shared heritage between the two brands while offering the complication at a fraction of the price. For collectors and travellers who wanted a mechanically competent GMT watch with genuine manufacture credentials, the Black Bay GMT delivered an argument that price and quality are not always proportional.
