Description
The “Zenith Daytonas” have appreciated significantly the last few years as people respect the modified Zenith El Primero movements that Rolex used for their first automatic Daytonas starting in 1988. This Rolex Zenith Daytona reference 16528 is a gorgeous yellow gold chronograph. For those looking for an incredible neo-vintage Rolex, this is one of the most attractive gold Zenith Daytonas we have ever seen. This example features the rare champagne “inverted 6” dial. Finding examples in this condition is extremely difficult. The case features a W serial dating to circa 1995. The 18k yellow gold case appears to be unpolished. The case measures 40mm in diameter. It still features the case back sticker. It is paired on the original bracelet that features a T date code from circa 1995. The watch does not include the box and papers. We do not know the service history, but it is running well. It recently passed a water resistance test of 5 bar.
