Description
The Longines reference 5707 is a special watch known as the "Greenlander" is an important military Longines and one of the most desired and rarer models from the Dirty Dozen wristwatches. The stainless steel case measures 37.5mm in diameter by 48mm lug to lug. This watch was produced in 1945 according to the Extract from the Archives and was invoiced to Baume & Co. of the United Kingdom. This is a special example with the matching number stamped on the bottom of the of the lug which coincides with the case back number. The case appears to be unpolished. We do not know the service history, but the watch is running well. It does not come with a box or papers. It comes with an Extract from the Archives. For those looking for a special military Longines, these are incredible watches.
