The modern reference 126900 continues this legacy with a 40mm Oystersteel case paired with a solid-link Oyster bracelet featuring an Oysterlock folding clasp and Rolex's Easylink comfort extension system. Its distinctive black dial is immediately recognizable, combining oversized 3, 6, and 9 numerals with a prominent minute scale designed for exceptional legibility. Paying tribute to the original Air-King models of the 1950s, the "Air-King" script appears in the same font selected by Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf. Further emphasizing the model's unique identity, the green seconds hand echoes the green Rolex signature on the dial, while the iconic yellow coronet stands apart from the brand's traditional monochromatic styling. Together, these signature elements give the Air-King a character unlike any other model in the Oyster Perpetual collection. Powered by Rolex's in-house Caliber 3230 automatic movement, the Air-King offers outstanding chronometric performance, a 70-hour power reserve, and the reliability expected of a modern Rolex sports watch.
