Description
The Patek Philippe Nautilus is perhaps the most desired watch on the planet. The introduction of the model marked the first true sports watch from the manufacturer in 1976. Along with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, it ushered in the world of integrated stainless steel watches which are adored by watch enthusiasts today. This Patek Philippe Nautilus is a very special and rare reference 3711/1 in 18k white gold. It is believed 700 examples were produced. The 3711/1G was the successor reference to the 3700/1A. Lord David Snowdon famously wore one for years that was sold at Christie's. The case is a "Jumbo" and measures 42mm in diameter. It has been lightly polished but is attractive. The reference 3711 was introduced in circa 2004 and was only produced until 2006. This is example dates to 2005. The watch is powered by the calibre 315 SC. It features a beautiful black dial. The 3711 is certainly one of the most attractive iterations of the Nautilus and this is an outstanding example. The watch comes with box. It comes with an Extract from the Archives. We do not know the service history, but it is running well.
