Description
The reference 6298 is a rare and oversized Oyster Perpetual model which measures 36mm in diameter. The reference 6298 is known amongst collectors as the Pre-Explorer as it paved the way for the Explorer models. These cases are similar to the reference 6350 with slightly lower bezels. The case appears to be unpolished. The applied coronet is beautiful and seen in 1950s models. The watch features a 913,XXX serial dating to circa 1953. The watch is paired on a later JB Champion bracelet. The watch does not come with box and papers. The service history is not known, but it is running well.
