Description
Nautical by nature, refined by design — the Rolex Yacht-Master, reference 126622, stands apart from the traditional Rolex sports lineup. This example features a striking sunburst blue dial housed in a 40mm Oystersteel case, paired with a bidirectional rotatable bezel crafted from 950 platinum. The bezel’s raised polished numerals contrast against its sandblasted matte background, adding depth and texture to the watch’s distinctive profile. The dial features applied white gold hour markers filled with Chromalight luminescence for long-lasting blue visibility in low-light conditions, complemented by a contrasting red seconds hand and red Yacht-Master lettering. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date window protects the dial. Powering the watch is Rolex’s in-house Caliber 3235 self-winding mechanical movement, with an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. The case is fitted with a Rolex Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, featuring solid three-piece links with brushed outer surfaces and polished center links. The bracelet offers a secure and comfortable fit, with a built-in Easylink comfort extension providing approximately 5mm of adjustment. This timepiece is in excellent condition, showing only very minor superficial scratches throughout the case, bezel, and bracelet. The watch is accompanied by its original Rolex warranty card dated July 2020, outer box, green inner box, card wallet, and service manual and chronometer certification hangtag.
