The Pelagos is Tudor's most technically ambitious dive watch — a 500-metre professional instrument in titanium with a helium escape valve, ceramic bezel, and an in-house movement with a silicon balance spring. Where the Black Bay family draws on vintage nostalgia, the Pelagos is entirely forward-looking: its titanium case and bracelet are lighter and more corrosion-resistant than steel, the spring-loaded clasp adjusts automatically to accommodate a wetsuit, and the luminous material charges faster and glows longer than conventional Super-LumiNova. The Pelagos represents what Tudor can do when heritage is set aside and the brief is purely performance.
About this reference
The Tudor Pelagos reference 25600tb-0001 features a titanium case and a blue dial plus matching ceramic bezel insert. It is fitted with a titanium bracelet and supplied with an additional rubber strap. Unlike its short-lived predecessor, it is powered by an in-house Tudor movement.
